Greetings,

We’re excited to share A Different World Services’ October 2026 Activity Calendar, filled with fall fun, festive Halloween celebrations, and meaningful opportunities for learning, recreation, wellness, and community involvement.

Throughout October, participants will continue enjoying favorite activities such as volunteering with Meals on Wheels, library visits, fitness sessions at Gold’s Gym, bowling, roller skating at Skateland, pickleball at Bangers & Dinks, Self Care Days at Beauty Empire, and our ongoing ADW Podcast.

This month’s calendar also features a variety of autumn adventures, including apple picking at Carter Mountain Orchard, pumpkin decorating at Cross Creek Gardens, Laburnum Pumpkin Patch and a hay ride, Jumpology, the Virginia Museum of History & Culture, Cinema Cafe, Halloween crafts, a Halloween Dance, and our ADW Service Day. We’ll wrap up the month with our Halloween Party & Birthday Bash on Friday, October 30, featuring bingo, a Chick-fil-A buffet, and plenty of spooky fun!

We’re also excited to celebrate several birthdays this month, creating even more opportunities for friendship, fun, and lasting memories together. We look forward to another wonderful month of fall fun, friendship, and community participation together!
