Greetings,

We’re excited to share A Different World Services’ September 2026 Activity Calendar, filled with engaging opportunities for learning , recreation, wellness, cultural exploration, and meaningful community involvement.

Throughout September, participants will continue enjoying favorite activities such as volunteering with Meals on Wheels, library visits, fitness sessions at Gold’s Gym, roller skating at Skateland, arts and crafts, community outings, shopping trips, and exciting adventures throughout Virginia.

This month’s calendar also features a variety of unique experiences, including the Chesterfield County Fair, Luray Caverns, Carter Mountain Orchard, Sandbox VR, the State Fair in Doswell, a visit to the Tractor Museum, feeding the ducks at Byrd Park, and our End of Summer Bash Pool Party & Cookout at Pocahontas State Park complete with games, prizes, and music. Participants will also explore the rich cultures and traditions of Latin America through our monthly Culture Celebrations, featuring Panama, Brazil, Costa Rica, and El Salvador. These experiences encourage cultural appreciation, learning, and meaningful connections with diverse communities from across the region.

We’re also excited to celebrate several birthdays this month, creating even more opportunities for friendship, fun, and lasting memories together. We look forward to another wonderful month of learning, exploration, friendship, and community participation together! 

Please Note: Day Support/Office is closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day.
