PHILOSOPHY

A Different World Home Services LLC is a group home program that provides 24 hour Developmental Disability services. Our mission is to help individuals to improve their self-confidence, motivation, and the ability to interact successfully within the community

MISSION STATEMENT

A Different World Home Services LLC will offer a variety of training and treatment modalities to enhance the individuals optimal level of functioning. The program will improve the individuals skills so that they may function as independently as possible. Individuals will receive skills training in all areas of daily living, to include independent home skills and community interaction skills. Treatment will be obtained for individuals who need additional assistance with mental health or behavioral difficulties. The program is designed to provide intensive daily structure and supervision. One to one supervision may be provided when needed for an individuals safety.

A Different World Home Services understands that it is a difficult decision to place a relative, friend, or a loved one in a long term residential home.

With this in mind it is our philosophy to provide our residents with the highest standards of care and personal assistance in suitably adapted environments they can call home. This in turn encourages optimum independence for the maximum amount of time for the one you care about and provides you with the peace of mind that their approach to residential care is simply the best to be found in the area. Dedicated professionals and care staff recognize that everyone is different and each of the care homes is committed to providing a holistic person centered approach focusing on the needs of our residents. ADWHS understands the unique challenges that people with Developmental disabilities face, and meticulously address their Individual needs.

Here at A Different World Home Services we wish to focus on NES model. Which entails Nurturing, Educating, and Supporting our residents. Our residents deserves the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of their own happiness and we wish to facilitate their growth.
